Whitney + Eric

Eric and Whitney were happily married last month at the top of Church Street in Burlington with their reception following at the Burlington Country Club. Whitney was so gorgeous and she picked the perfect color for her bridesmaids to pop against the autumn leaves! Wow! Whitney and Eric are so in love and are such a fun couple! I truly enjoyed sharing in the joy of their wedding festivities!

I picked a handful of my favorite images from the day for you to enjoy…

For more highlights of their fun and fabulous wedding day, you can view their slideshow!

ps...Just a few days ago, I spoke with the dashing groom himself and he told me a cool story. When we did their engagement session back in July, they were sitting on a rock in Otter Creek (near Middlebury), and suddenly, this very cute and friendly dog jumped up on the rock with them. They looked like the perfect little family! I told them that I had a feeling there would be a dog in their not too distant future. Well, Whitney & Eric just got an adorable new puppy named Tiki, and he is from the breeder of that very same dog!

I Know Where Matt Was...

...thanks to our dear friend Tom Myers, director of International Business at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, he was having lunch with us, and then doing this funny little jig for the college community, assorted fans and media.

In case you haven't been paying attention, Matt is not only today's You-Tube phenomenon, he is one of the nicest guys you could possibly meet! CLICK HERE, turn your sound on, watch him dance and check out his amazing story.

(Andy made me that cute little animated gif from the photos I took...too cool!)

60 Days to Go...

...before Lynn and Christian are married! I just took a peek at their super cute wedding web page and it had that friendly little reminder right under the date of their big day, January 20th.

It’s perfect that they will be married in the winter because they met nearly 3 years ago on a blind date during a skiing trip in Canada. I am excited about their plans for a cozy winter wedding.

Their engagement session was a ton of fun, romping through the leaves and up Mt. Philo. And yes--for you non-Vermonters out there--the leaves really ARE that color!

For more fun from the day, you can view their slideshow!

Think snow!!

Love and All That Jazz

I met up with Lindsey and Nate at one of the most beautiful inns in Vermont, the Willard Street Inn, and then we headed down to the Burlington waterfront for a fun change of scenery.

What a darling couple these two are! I seem to recall that Nate was a friend of Lindsey’s brother and had a crush on her since he was 9 years old! Too cute for words! Lindsey is quite a catch because she has a great personality, she has cute dimples and she can really sing! Something I really admire as I can NOT sing! You must check out her jazzy website! Their slideshow was put to a sweet little number of hers too, click here to view it!

I know their wedding in Burlington will be tons of fun next September!

A "Wicked" good time!

We are back from our fabulous NYC anniversary weekend. Andy was a man with a plan and we had such a blast! Some of our highlights were: eating fantastic food, seeing the broadway show: Wicked, having a hotel room right in Times Square, visiting the Annie Leibovitz show at the Brooklyn Museum, and shedding a tear (or two) at the World Trade Center site.

I want to tell you about a bonus highlight of our trip...
We were having our anniversary dinner at the Sea Grill at Rockefeller Center with big windows overlooking the ice arena. Workers were busy setting up the ice for a performance later that night by singer Christina Aguilera. An amazing ice skater was warming up on the ice in preparation for the show. Turns out it was Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen. We had front row seats...how cool is that?

Lady Liberty?!?
A display of red bottles at Dean & Deluca caught my eye, although I was scolded by an employee for snapping this quick pic...

Fall-ing in Love

I met up with Alyssa and Jayson recently at one of my favorite spots on the planet, Shelburne Farms, for their engagement session. Alyssa and Jayson are tons of fun and it was a blast capturing their playful energy as they ran around in the leaves, walked the shoreline, and climbed trees.

I am really looking forward to their wedding next year at the Stoweflake Resort in Stowe.

For more fun from their day--and to see the incredibly gorgeous Shelburne Farms--you can view their slideshow!

Happy Anniversary

....to US!!
Andy and I have been happily married for 15 years today! Wow, time flies when you are having fun! It seems like it wasn't too long ago that we said "I do!", but then I think of all the amazing things we have shared and accomplished in those years...
My romantic hubby has planned a NYC getaway for the weekend, sans kids and computers)and I am super-dooper excited!!
I've gotta run off and pack my bags...

Leaf Peeping

I will look for any excuse to take a drive around Vermont in the autumn. So when the Howrigan family asked if I could photograph them at their farm in northern Vermont, I was happy to make the trip. The farm couldn’t have been more picture perfect with the most beautiful trees, green rolling hills and a stately red barn. It was fun capturing the family playing in the leaves and visiting their new born foal with it’s proud and protective mother. On my way back I was amazed to see the harvest moon rising up over the mountains. It was a perfect fall day! For more photos of their absolutely gorgeous family, check out their slideshow!
