Robyn and Keith were blissfully married in a cute, little white church in Waitsfield in September. After a champagne toast, the newlyweds drove off in a vintage black Chevy for their grand celebration at the beautiful Round Barn Farm It was a perfect day in every way and Andy and I were so honored to be a part of it!

Happy day after Thanksgiving! I hope you had an enjoyable day filled with family and/or friends and lots of yummy food. We celebrated with a couple of Williston families and created so many wonderful memories. One of the sweetest things we did was that each person wrote down what they were thankful for and then we read them outloud and tried to guess who wrote each one. I'd like to adopt it as a Thanksgiving tradition.

We did the unthinkable and took yesterday and today off from work and to have some fun family time. We woke up this morning to fresh falling snow and knew it was the perfect day for...a matinée! And I'm excited to announce that I have a favorite new movie (sorry Incredibles)!! If you adore love stories, humor, fairy tales and happy endings then run, don't walk, to THIS MOVIE!! It was perfectly wonderful!!

A Yeti update: you'll be happy to know that his leg is 100% healed up and he spends his days springing around like Tigger, eating socks (yikes!) and making us laugh with all of his silly ways. Here's a picture that Andy took of him this morning...

Alyssa + Jayson Tie the Knot!

I was so excited to finally photograph Alyssa and Jayson's wedding at the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa in September. It was a year ago that we were running around at Shelburne Farms for their e-session. These two are so cute and playful and I knew their wedding day would be fun to photograph.
The morning of their wedding it rained off and on and, fortunately, nature cooperated just in time for a perfectly, beautiful day. Both Jayson and Alyssa are so full of emotion and adore each other so much, it was a pleasure to photograph their ceremony. Even though it wasn't raining out, for some reason I had to dry my eyes several times. ;-)
Alyssa and Jayson were game for a bit of driving around in Stowe to find some fun backdrops and we had a total blast with them.

Fun with Jeff and Amanda!

I met up with Jeff and Amanda at the Shelburne Museum for their e-session this fall. I think we spent most of our time laughing and some of the time taking photos. There were a zillion photo opportunities at the museum, so it was probably a good thing that we got there with only an hour left before it closed. As it was, we were sneaking around at closing for a quick photo on the merry-go-round. (Shhhh....don't tell!)

Andy and I will be photographing "Jeffanda's" wedding next summer at Amanda's family home on Lake Champlain. I know it will be a spectacular day in every way, and bonus for us because their circle of loved ones is AWESOME! We photographed her cousin Heidi's beautiful wedding this last summer. In fact, Amanda is quite the talented photographer and she captured some amazing moments at Heidi's wedding too. Making friendships with couples is my very favorite part of what I do!

Sarah + Steve's e-session!

I recently had the fortune of hanging out in Stowe with the super sweet Sarah and Steve.
They will be married on May 10th, 2008 in Burlington at the beautiful St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.
Their reception will be held at the quaint and cozy Old Lantern in Charlotte.

It was so fitting that we met in Stowe, a place famous for its skiing, because Sarah and Steve fell in love on a ski trip with friends in Lake Tahoe.
No strangers to adventure either, I read on their wedding blog that Steve proposed while they were skiing down the legendary Tuckerman’s Ravine.

Well there wasn’t any snow to play in, but we lucked out with a gorgeous early-fall day for our session.
