Incredible Wedding Photography

In Mass

Andy, the kids and I took off for a long weekend to Cape Cod last Friday. Our primary reason for the trip was to photograph the awesome wedding festivities on Friday and Saturday for the photo editor of the Denver Post, Meghan, and her new husband, Kevin.
We decided to take the kids along and stay through Monday in Provincetown to get our beach fix. However, Hurricane Kyle decided to rain on our parade all weekend.
We did get in a little play time on the beach on Sunday and then decided that we'd paddle upstream to Danvers, Mass, where there was rumored to be an indoor water park. (Jaquelin H., if you are reading this, please do not be upset that we didn't call, but we didn't have your phone number and were very sad about it!)
On Monday, the kids voted that we should check out Salem and learn about the witch trials, so that's what we did. It was a bewitching place and learned that there are a few sites that are historical, but the rest are pure entertainment, so if you visit, be sure to stop by the town's information office first.
Enjoy some snapshots from our family fun time...

Tourists came to see the big waves from Kyle, but the sea was very quiet on Sunday morning. The calm before the storm, perhaps?
fun stuff in Salem
I love reflections!
We visited "The Witch House" and learned that a woman with our namesake was the first accused witch to be hung.
We also visited the "Witch Dungeon Museum" for a live re-enactment of the witch trials and a tour of the dungeons where the accused witches were held.
The tour guide informed us that the actual dungeon was destroyed and all that remained was this one beam. It is said to be good luck for women to rub the beam, so Andy had to capture me in action. It was "lucky" that he caught it because he had no flash and it was very dark down there. (And quite musty and creepy too.)
cute!
I liked this logo!
We followed this red line around town to see the sites. I think it's nicknamed "the profit line".
Colorful local sodapop.
Spoooooky!

My Summer love!!

The wrought iron fences were very photogenic.

p.s. come back soon for my first maternity session, lots-o-fab weddings and fun e-sessions!! xo
